Our Mission
To be the export partner our buyers do not have to check up on — delivering Indian products at the specification agreed, on the date promised, with documentation that clears customs the first time.
An Indian export house built on specification, testing and documents that hold up.
Velfine Overseas was formed to solve a problem that anyone who has imported from India will recognise. The country produces extraordinary goods — some of the best rice, spices and craftsmanship in the world — but the gap between what is agreed on email and what arrives in the container has ruined more supplier relationships than price ever has.
We built the company around closing that gap. Every order runs on a written specification. Every food lot is tested before it is released. Every document set is checked against the buyer's contract or letter of credit before the vessel sails. It is not glamorous work, but it is the reason our buyers place a second order.
Today we operate six verticals from India — rice, spices, dehydrated onion, frozen foods, handicrafts and private label packaged goods — serving importers, distributors, retail chains and food manufacturers across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, North America and South East Asia.
To be the export partner our buyers do not have to check up on — delivering Indian products at the specification agreed, on the date promised, with documentation that clears customs the first time.
To build a sourcing house known less for the size of its catalogue than for the reliability of its shipments — the exporter buyers recommend to their own competitors.
We would rather lose an order than win it with a loading date we know we cannot hold.
A Certificate of Analysis costs a fraction of a rejected container. We treat testing as part of the cost of goods.
Specifications, tolerances and terms go in writing before production, so nobody argues from memory later.
If something goes wrong on our side, we say so first and carry the cost of putting it right.
You place one order with one company. Everything between your specification and your warehouse is our problem, not yours.
Whether it is a single container trial or a standing monthly programme, the conversation starts the same way — tell us what you need and where it has to land.
